It seems like just a few years I was marveling at the graphics on the Commodore 64 computer. Today, I have in my mobile phone more computing power than a WWII warship.
But it isn't just technology that is changing. So much of life is moving so fast. What we assume is stable and permanent is really only temporary and then it's gone.
